Since the winter of 1936 / 1937, Sun Valley Ski Club has supported local, national and world class mens and womens racing. The valley supported Sun Valley International Open, Inter-Collegiate Ski Meet, Midwinter Sport Carnivals, Singles Week, Olympic Tryouts, ski tours to Pioneer Cabin, the Diamond Sun, ski jumping, and most recently the Skoch Cub, Leif’s Race and the Billy Goat Loppet. These snow events were also accompanied with indoor awards ceremonies, galas and socials. And as always, the SVSC supports life in the mountains year round activities in skiing, riding, hiking, canoeing and travel.

Bradford Ski Club Open
The Bradford Ski Club Open began as a memorial race for Robert Bradford who was first in Sun Valley on leave in 1941 where he literally ran into his not yet wife Rosie. As the story goes, it happened in Sun Valley, the couple was hooked on the valley and continue to support the love of winter life. The Bradford Ski Club Open is now a family event with individual and family teams events, costume as you like and fun for all.
